My favorite go to breakfast. 1c cooked steel cut oats, 2 dates diced small, 1/2tbsp kerrygold butter. I put 1/2 cup hot oats in my bowl, the dates,then the other 1/2 cup on top.let it sit so the dates become squishy piles of sweet goo. LOVE!!!

Have you ever tried adding the dates to the oatmeal cooking water? Dried dates I’m guessing. That way you get the sweetness of the dates all through the oatmeal.

I go for oatmeal with blueberries and prunes. Same idea no butter but a use vanilla and cinnamon!
