I really get tired of people getting so offended so easily. "Going to a psychologist to get treated for hysteria" is a joke among psychologists, and I've rarely met anyone who didn't know what it meant. It means that whether you do things the old way or the new way you're still getting benefits, though it may be in a different way.
And for anyone who doesn't know, it's because the "treatment" was basically to masturbate the woman and give her an orgasm. Apparently that seems to put people in a good mood. ;)
