A meal of dollar tree fish sticks, fries, and potato sticks (yikes!) plus a slice of birthday cake did me in. it was a meal I couldn't refuse... my 94 year old mom insisted on making me lunch yesterday.

It was sweet of her to do that for you. Sometimes you just have to eat what mama fixes you! Your healthy eating pattern can be started again tomorrow.

Meh. But she was so happy to make us a lunch! All carbs. She forgets the things I'm focused on. At her age I figure she's entitled to focus on whatever she wants. It was a thank you lunch. I got her a new tablet for her birthday and I had plans to treat her to lunch too. She wouldn't let me!
