Yesterday I ate a very light breakfast at 4 am then started working on my book project. I didn't realize how much time passed until I had to rush and dress so I could take my mother to a 1:20 doctor's visit. Neither she nor my father drive. I knew they wanted to grocery shop at Walmart and Sam's afterward so it would be late before I got home. No way could I last that long without eating so I took them out to eat. I'm not great at finding restaurants with a healthy menu but I didn't want to blow the day so we tried a new place, Mexican Cantina ... or something like that. I had heard they served a more healthy version of Mexican food. I ordered a roasted chicken tortilla bowl ... basically lettuce, onions, cubes of chicken, salsa, cheese, and guacamole in a tortilla shell. I only nibbled on the shell, maybe two chips worth so it wasn't too bad.
I ended up way under my calories for the day as I wasn't hungry for dinner. I only ate one of the 100 cal bags of popcorn in the evening. I don't think going way under is good but oh well, life happens.
I'm still struggling with drinking enough water and doing exercise. Workdays aren't too bad as I average over 12k steps but it isn't the right type of exercise. But I'm moving. On off-days, I sit too much. I've made these two things my teensy goals for February.
