I'm back trying to lose the weight again. Trying something I haven't tried before and is working for me at this time. All my life I had drank diet drinks cause I don't like sweet liquids. So I have not had a soda, soft drink drink what ever you call it. in over a month. That is no small frat for me. Diet MTN Dew was my poison it was nothing for me to drink 4-6 a day. No soda and just think before I eat about what I'm eating if it's healthy or not or if I eat a sandwich at lunch then that is my bread for the day. I have been at a slow and steady weightloss for the last couple of months and the belly fat is going away quickly and I believe that came from all the drinks.

Great, keep going! I'm recently back trying to lose as well. My poisons are refined sugar and saturated fats...get bored sitting at a desk all day and the sugar high can help. So I'm trying to cut those out and log calories/keep active. Only one week so far. Thanks for your inspiring post :)
