I used to have a job working with statistics, and apparently it never wore off. Between a mostly plant-based diet and questionable kidneys, I don't load up on protein despite a lot of advice to do so. My strategy is to fill up on fiber. So this morning I went through a list of fruits calculating how many calories per gram of fiber each had so I know what the go-tos are when I'm not hitting my fiber goal. For the record, the order of lowest calories per grams is: raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, oranges, apples, blueberries, mango, peaches, bananas, pineapple and grapes Yes, I have weird hobbies 😜
This is not saying I'm giving up ANY of them, because I believe in eating the rainbow, eating at least 30 different plant species each week, and considering potassium as well. Still, it's good info to have in my pocket
