A very good friend lives in Lincoln City on the coast. Life there just includes rain a good part of the year.

Thank you, everybody! It is so nice to have some time alone. It has been many years! ❤️ Sk, neighbor! We are in Linclon City, just a short walk down the beach from where my mother grew up and my grandparents lived. It is where we went for our honeymoon. Grandma gave us her house while she stayed with my folks for two whole weeks! Even my girls remember visiting great grandma and "her" ocean. I certainly know this place and no other beach in the world is as precious to me. Cold, rainy, windy... It is still perfect with the wild surf that is no near. Looking out on the beach at this minute, there isn't a soul to be seen... Just gulls looking for breakfast! 😁 

So happy you were able to get away. You deserve some down time. 💕 

Oregon coast is so beautiful in any weather! Congrats on your getaway, and on encouraging each other the eat healthy!!

Becky, thank you. It is hard to shut off concerns for what is back home. So far I think things are good. I really want to disconnect and relax. I'm trying!  

Isn't it, kylier? 😁 Br_e_co! Yes, that is what we are hoping for. Sk, we went out to the water a few minutes ago but retreated again because we didn't want to be drenched. It is Ok! I don't mind too much! The window is wide open and I'm sitting beside it!  

I always loved walking in the rain at the coast. But I get not wanting to be drenched. 

We got a couple miles in this afternoon, Kat, with limited drenching! 😁 💦 💧😘
