So, yesterday I began this journey (yet again) feeling defeated already. But I stuck with my plan anyhow.

Some of you who are following me - I didn't know that my journal entries were public - so i kinda went on a self-hating rant with my initial post with language, probably not suitable for general consumption. I apologize for that.

I plan on continuing my daily journal entries, and also plan on being honest with my feelings, outlook, perspective and to share with you my journey, as bright or as dark as it gets.

I spent time yesterday remembering what is truly important to me and how it relates to this journey.

I remembered (visualized) a few things that made me happy that I no longer can do due to my weight or activities that I don't participate in because of being so self-conscious or restricted because of my size.

1. I can't ride my brand new electric bike right now because the weight limit is 265lbs.
2. I can't use my kayak right now because of the weight limit.
3. I don't visit family because I don't want to see their faces of disappointment.
4. I hate going to the grocery store because I can see out of the corner of my eye people staring at me.
5. I don't join the camera club, which I have wanted to do for years because i'm afraid of not being accepted.

You know the list, it goes on for many of us. I get it.

So, I keep these things in the forefront of my mind, seeking, hoping and praying that one-by-one, this list gets shorter.
