I'm going to count down the days to myself and not bore you with the timeline by saying, well, this is day 4...etc.

I'm starting to think that to successfully keep going is based in consistent 'visualizing.'

It's the one thing that can take you out of analysis paralysis- if only for a brief moment - to possibly ease your mind just long enough to 'curb an urge'.

I mentioned in yesterday's journal entry that Easter is quickly approaching and I wasn't sure how to deal with family and the meal.

I've decided to just visit on Good Friday, dye some eggs, and have some quiet time with the folks, who are in their 80s now.

I told them that Easter dinner really isn't on my diet plan and that they should go and spend dinner plans with friends - who had already reached out to them to see if they wanted to go anyway.

I'm ok with that.

That's a great plan! Keep on truckin'! I will have a different plan... for me, I will be fasting on Good Friday and then have family over for Easter dinner. I will still log all calories and get back on track on Monday.
