Hitting some new personal bests on bench press and incline press, so maaayybeee taking a month off was a good thing, my body needed a break. After all I am not as young as I think I am.
The number one cause of injuries in older men is thinking they are young men.

My limited knowledge of weight lifting has me taking a deload or a rest week every couple of months. I thought about making it every month and half at one point. Maybe I will take two weeks off I don’t know. But for sure, if your body is feeling it you need to step away for a time to recover. Or lift a lighter weight if you want to keep up the habit. Stopping completely could be hard to get back into

I'm not a 'weight-lifter', by any means. Just a little ol' lady with 3 lb dumbbells (for now)...but even that can be difficult some days. 🤣😣😜
