Oh my goodness. I feel so very sad for her. So strange that they would do an acceptance and then send out a disqualified. That is so much worse than just getting a refusal from the beginning. I know you are very proud regardless.

I know this is an old post, but wanted to update those that responded. She is going to the Coast Guard Academy! She’ll actually be able to make a bigger impact there. She’s excited about search and rescue and keeping our country safe. There’s always a plan in place, sometimes it’s just hard being patient.
