Asking for prayers my FSF, i just came out of the doctors office. Turns out the stomach and back pain i have been experiencing for weeks now is not because of my acid reflux.. They did an ultrasound and found that i have gallstones and the walls of my gallbladder is thick, which means i need to have my gallbladder taken out.. waiting to be scheduled for a surgery soon.. i have a lot of mommy and school duties.. i am hoping and praying everything goes well and that i can continue on my heath and fitness journey after the surgery.

It'll be ok GeeC 💙 I had my gall bladder out back in the 90's and recovered quite quickly and felt better than I had for a long time. Are there neighbors, family or friends that can help with the mommy/school duties for just a week or 2? Now's the time to ask for help and everything set up ahead of time. Praying for you🙏💙🌷

That’s what i am working on now, i have no family near so i am trying to see which friends can keep my little one even just for surgery day. Glad to know that recovery will be quick, can’t wait to feel normal again. Thank you so much CrystalJo! 💖🙏

Many of my family incl my mom at 87 have had the procedure. All recovered quite quickly and were so much better than before. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Hi, I have gallstones! , And waiting for my gallbladder to be removed, Those abs and back pains are no fun eh! I went into hospital my first time (as I’d left it too long) with a stone blocking my bile duct, and all the bile trapped behind it, so I turned yellow from jaundice, I had a plastic stent put inside my bile duct so nothing could get stuck again, I won’t bore you with the other details, but I can’t wait to have it removed so I don’t have to go through this anymore! 🤣

Thank you SLYONE and Jamie!! Yes the pain really is not fun at all, my GP just gave me additional antacid to manage the reflux. I am worried about recovery and life after the removal. We have an upcoming vacation to NYC first week of June, and thinking whether to have the surgery done before or after the trip.
