That is very interesting. From the looks of the rings, you must live in an area that gets lots of rain. The rimgs on our trees in California are so close together you can’t get the tip of a needle between them

There was some kind of environmental change when the tree was a young sapling that caused that ring growth to occur and form that shape - there are people who are educated in reading the rings of trees and deciphering what environmental event occurred during that tree's life. Nice photo and very interesting!
