Broke down today (not as in crying...unless you seriously count the annoying allergy eyes, then yes - it definitely looks like I've been crying...argh. Forgot to take the meds.)...and went back to www.beachbody.com.
I am currently in a challenge -- through fatsecret (and there are NUMEROUS challenges to select from) -- doing Power 90 At Home Boot Camp. Unfortunately for me - I haven't been faithful to the workout (which does indeed work)...and I get bored with them easily...even though they work. So I had decided today I have GOT to lose the weight. I have 136 days to get myself together...so my dress won't have to be crazily altered. I looked on line (ebay...hey, I can be a cheap skate) last night and saw numerous dresses....and then I looked at the dress I have (from a previous engagement that I called off), and it's so much prettier than ANY I saw on line. Any of them.
So why in the world was I looking for another dress? So I wouldn't have to work on myself (diet and exercise) so hard to look fabulous in the one I already have. Now isn't that totally silly??? Or maybe the word I'm looking for is "slacker." LOL.
We can always find a size larger...but is that what we 'really' want? Nope. So, I'm the proud future owner of protein shakes, vitamins (metabolism and performance), and Turbo Jam. It's got kick boxing in it, which I really enjoy. I can nearly immediately feel the results so I know something is going on there.

It's our CHOICE to do what's best for ourselves, our spouses (or soon to be), and our family.
Last night's eating was bad. Tandem eating, tandem snacking....topped off with a light beer. Snap back to reality chicko...you got 136 days to find some tone and shed some fat.
