You can say that again --- I am right there for that lunch - that is my idea of Perfection. I would eat that three times - any day of the week. I have searching for a good cook. You are Hired.

It's my husband you'd have to hire. He's the stir fry specialist in our house. I've learned the tempeh turns out much better when we steam it 10 minutes first

Do you remember, like 20 years ago, when Panda Express had Szechuan tofu?? It was so good - this reminds me of that!

Allegra-- I never ate at Panda Express much, so I don't remember that one, but I've tried a lot of variations on tofu over the years. Tofu pretty much takes on any flavor you put on it. I like tofu really well, but also love tempeh. It has more of its own flavor than tofu, and is firmer with more texture. They're both great, though!

I have not eaten tempeh, but I like tofu and find myself eating a fair amount.

Kenna and CrystalJo -- I'd encourage you to give it a go sometime! I steam mine for 10 minutes, then cube it and either roast it in the oven with a little EVOO and salt or soy sauce, or I have my husband toss it into a stir fry (he's the stir fry king in this house 😉)

I will try it. I’ll look up some recipes on GOOGLE. I don’t do a lot of asian food because of the high sodium count but I’m queen of modifying flavor profiles.
