First hike of the season! Did the loop around Turtle Rock. 4 miles total. Yes, I DO look like a dork ;-) I'm down about 15 pounds from the last time I hiked in the fall. The climbs felt easier with less weight on me

This is near the east trailhead on Turtle Rock trail in the Vedauwoo (pronounced VEE-da-voo) area. It's part of the Medicine Bow National Forest. The Forest Service lands just west of us are our playground

Sounds like you need to get out on the bike then! 😁🤣 We mountain bike sometimes, too, but not on this trail. This one is beyond my skill set. A lot of people bike it, though
