Broccoli stalks and fermented carrots for an office snack. I'm a nervous chewer, but it doesn't really matter to me to chew on veg instead of munchies. The carrots are kind of like sauerkraut, but less pungent & spicier. Homemade, so plenty of probiotics

I am a nervous chewers too... I converted from being a nervous smoker. I put on the customary 80 pounds. Then, like you, I became a nervous chewer of veggies. That's why I chose the carrot as my avatar, lol. I still get into the salty snacks a lot, and it seems to be a real Achilles heel. Frito Lay has nothing to worry about.

jengetfit -- not only the veggies, but I'm never without chewing gum at the office. I am so looking forward to retiring (630 days, not that I'm counting...) so that I no longer need to deal with work anxiety
