& just as I hoped, things took a better turn later in the day. Was able to obtain fresh veggies & fruits, dried apricots and dried beans and brown rice, more oats & honey. The universe came thru again. Have cut up a HUGE 🥔 from the food pantry with the last of the fresh veg I bought 2 weeks ago. Zucchini, yellow onion, baby carrots, a fresh jalapeño -whose squishiness was borderline suspect but tossed in anyways- fresh garlic, olive oil, black pepper & ms. Dash table blend now roasting away for several days of meals this coming week. I think I will not cook chicken tomorrow (we had some meat in the freezer) but lentils instead for the main. Roasted veg on the side. Hubby, myself & one of ou Boston Terriers miiiiiiiight have indulged on a small carton of fresh delicious candy like strawberries tonight while watching King of Queens. I think that show should have been in the Arthur Spooner hour instead. He’s the best.
