I'm assuming your not doing Atkins anymore with the bread and grapes. So make sure you are eating the right amount of calories to help you lose. You may need to play around with them. As we age it can be harder to get the pounds off, so plenty f protein. Protein helps with fat loss and helps build and keep muscle in our bodies. Track all your food honestly. Bites, licks and tastes add up. A food scale, measuring cups and spoons are great tools. Weighing a potato and eyeing the size of one can make a difference in calories. Drink your water, it flushes out sodium and keeps things moving. Focus on lean protein, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. Watch processed foods and sodium. Natural is always better. Google "power foods". Get some good fats in your diet like avocados or peanutbutter. Just have to watch portions and calories. Be active! Do what you can. There are great workout videos for all ages and people. Walking is great. Green tea is supposed to help with weight loss. A couple cups in the morning may help. It has caffeine so if you are sensitive to it, keep it in the morning. Try to get some protein at each meal. Just some tips. Be proactive and learn as much as you can about nutrition and fitness.
