Hello, everyone! My motto for many years had been Think Positive, but when I joined FatSecret I had a cupcake for an avatar. Being diabetic I could not have sugar in real life so I had a sweet cupcake avatar with a smiling face. After a while I decided it might be taunting to other members who would have to look at my cupcake all the time, so I changed it. In order to lose weight I had to do more than Think Positive, I had to Do Positive, so I changed my avatar to Be Positive for a while, then made it Stay Positive. It's a reminder to me and hopefully a reminder to all of you. Good luck! Love ya!

I am a pear Deb. I've tried using photos but I prefer my pear's smiley face. I'm not pear shaped personally but imagine it might be off-putting to pear-shaped ladies. Hope not!

I've just noticed my avatar is a smiling bunch of french fries, oh dear. I need to change that also :D Love your attitude, keep it up and share it with everybody around you (online and offline).

first weight -in in a month. I know I have gained but it is time to deal with it and make some good changes.

I don't believe in positive thinking. I believe in negative thinking. Negative thinking will stop you dead in your tracks. Positive thinking will at least let you try. Nothing magical about it.

Oh boy Deb, trying trying trying, to stay positive...stuck in the 160's far to long...had a very stressful December and into Jan.
My dear Dad made it through, but will need a nursing home and cannot go back to the assisted living home where he was, he is not the man he was and needs a lot of help...very weak etc...But very thankful he made it through the tough time he was having in hospital...bless him..he is 92 yrs. old.
I am back on track now and hopefully will bust out of the 160's very soon.
been there far too long....reading your posts sure helps...thanks for the support.
