We're back from Chicago, and those 4 days really flew by! Wow! Didn't log at all while gone. We had an amazing time but also an emotional one. It was truly a blessing getting to be there to be a support to my step-sister and my nephew while we work through everything and be there for him. Also really enjoyed the alone time with the Hubby.
It was amazing seeing him, he looks so good! He was 240 lbs when he first moved out here with us from his mom's in Cali last August, when he left in May for bootcamp he was around 195, and now he's 178. I, however, enjoyed all the Chicago food and have no regrets, LOL (even if the scale shows unwanted gain).
We spent more time with my step-sister & her partner than we expected to and I'm so thankful. The extra 2 1/2 lbs I gained was totally worth this trip. With all that being said, I'm very glad to be home & get back on track (again). I missed Lil Miss & Mr. Lil Big Dude.
