I haven't weighed in this week yet because it's in the 138s and I want it to go down.

That number is still a healthy BMI, but I know I feel better and slightly less flabby at a lower weight.

I'm struggling because on one hand I workout a decent amount, and I'm trying to adjust my sleeping schedule to sleep enough. But I'm tired and it makes it hard to tell if I'm under fueled or my body is wanting food because of the poor sleep. 😩 I did get a good hour long bike ride in this morning, though I felt like crud.

I'll get my stuff together eventually. I am running a half with my SIL this weekend, and I'm kind of eh about it. She'll probably leave me in her dust, and I'm just so frustrated with how much fitness I lost since earlier this year.

Well, pity party over! Have a good week everyone 😊 I may or may not ever weight in haha

But you still run persistently and even added cycling. I respect that. You’ll harvest the fruit of consistent exercise habit when you are 70 years old. I know 70 sounds far far away but please know you are building something worthwhile.

I completely sympathize and wish you so much clarity on your fitness journey. If you’re open and willing I did find and article that may help you determine if you need more sleep or something else and encourage you to also research some things. Some of what you are saying, working out, but fitness is declining, and feeling like crud, when I am assuming before the workouts felt great? That has happened to me in the past and I was very frustrated as well. When I looked at the data and reflected on my whole journey I realized, my body needed rest. I recently read a good article on that too if you are interested. I’ll add them both below. Have a lovely week! https://www.vitacost.com/blog/hungry-thirsty-or-tired-heres-how-to-tell-the-difference/ https://lauranorrisrunning.com/rest-days-running/

Awww...fatigue...be sure you have enough iron, vitamins D and B. I find many of my clients have deficiencies.

Yfritz, thank you for the encouragement ❤ of I can keep up working out until I'm 50 even I'll be happy. 😆 especially if my body is already starting to rebel 🙃 I haven't gone through the comments on your recent posts yet (though I love reading your post itself), I hope you're doing well ❤ are you for sure moving from NC?

Thanks for the article, mysteke! My fitness has declined because I injured my foot earlier this year (plantar fasciitis) and I'm still not even 100% yet. Trying to fill in my running gaps with other exercise!

Thanks, HCB! I was looking forward to my physical exam with my PCP because I wanted to do bloodwork but they called and had to push it out another 2 months 😔 I take vitamin D now, and I was reading that for endurance athletes, especially women, that low iron could give that sense of fatigue, too. Just gotta keep [trying] to eat healthy, at least I get in my daily fruits, I love them! 😄

Thanks for the company, JC! We'll get there eventually 😁

Yes I made it home. Ashley your PCP can send you to get the bloodwork done at Labcorp or somewhere. If the results are alarming he will probably move your appointment to an earlier date. Tell him you are unusually fatigued and worried that you might be anemic. He needs the info to assign diagnosis codes for the lab order.

I'm glad you're back home. That's a good idea, thank you! I just sent them a message, so hopefully I'll get some bloodwork soon
