Thanks, wifeski! It's been kind of a fun day of kitchen projects. Just finished making flax cookies and throwing dough in the bread maker. A few other things I want to do, but my husband just took over the kitchen for a while to bake biscotti 😋

You can slice it right off the cob and eat it, little_mermee. The folks I bought it from said they picked it last night and this morning, so it was really fresh. So sweet!

The best sweet corn on the cob I ever had was at a Farmers Market in a tiny town (my mother's hometown) in Nebraska. I remember it often.

Thanks, sugarplum! Snowwhite, it's amazing how some of those special food memories stick with you, isn't it? When I was in high school, my friends and I were driving around in the wee hours of the night and found ourselves in a donut shop right as they were taking the Danishes out of the oven. Still warm 😋 That was nearly 40 years ago, and it still sticks with me 😊
