No patrol today as today was inspection today and I had a meeting with the Screaming Woman (Jillian Michaels) and her Shred.

The inspection I spent hours cleaning, on my hands and knees with a brush and soapy water. Yet, despite my diligence. Despite mopping the floors twice. It was not enough. I did not reach the expectations. There was a cobweb about an inch from a light only visible when the light was lit, and I did not light when I was in the closet. The slats to the furnace room were also dusty; the suggestion was to acquire something called a pipe cleaner to clean them. There was also a bit of dust on my bedroom windowsill. Alas, it will be yet another six weeks before I move up to the next level. Perhaps, for next week, I can move all my stuff out into the yard, hire a dragon and have it simply cook everything to a crisp? Instead, I shall make a list of everything, and go over it. Oh, and in the track for the door that leads outside there was a bit of dirt from it being open a couple of days ago.

For the Shred I managed to get through with just a couple of episodes of weakness. The broth seems to have helped. I intend to consume it again tonight. I have gotten stronger on the jumping parts. All the time on my knees scrubbing the floor today weakened my knees and moving to the sides made them ache a bit. My Quill-pal (person doing the 30-day shred with me) wrote to me and told me of her improvements today. Indeed our bodies are incredible with their abilities to adapt and overcome. As is our ability as well.

Tonight I will also write my menu, but this time no easy treats. I will see what I come up with. I did discover some good news. The green fruit, sometimes called a vegetable, avocado is marked down to 0.29 GP at the market named Aldi that is in this town. With luck I will have as much success on shopping this week as I did last week.

Love avocados - great fat and one carb! When I did Jillian, I did not jump - I did it low impact and it still was hard!

I know the low-impact versions, just feel like I should challenge myself a bit more is all. Today will be another day of Zombie, Run!, if I can ever get awake. It is hard regardless of how you do it, because of the duration. It's not like, "Here do 10 jumping jacks" Nope do them for 30 seconds, then another cardio for 30 seconds, and then Oh, yeah, do the again for 30 seconds.

Yup - that is how it gets you. The 30 second intervals...have you ever heard of a Tabata? That is how it works...
