Winter has arrived. Thankfully the wind has moved on. It's cold, but not a problem. The forecast is for 3-5 additional inches. Most of us have acclimated to the new season. Can't say the same for those new to the state. They build beautiful homes in the mountains with long scenic drives. Then the complaining commences. What do you mean the mail isn't delivered right to my door? What do you mean I have to deal with my garbage? Well, you do what the rest of us do. Pay for private pick up service or buy a truck and make a dump run. Why isn't my drive plowed? Put a plow on that truck you bought for dump runs. The worst thing is they don't know how to drive on snow packed roads. That's dangerous. Took me 3x longer to get into town the other day. Out of state vehicle inching along at 20 mph on the longest straight stretch of road. No passing allowed on this stretch. Or I would have.
My sister has been very ill and this is her second week in the hospital. She's improving, but it's going to be a bit of tough go for her. Like she told me good thing we're from hardy Viking stock.
So I really have not been into measuring or logging. Have to settle down and get my act together.
