226.2 today...another good drop (.6 lbs from yesterday). Makes me glad I decided not to eat that movie popcorn. :-) I did take the day off from exercise yesterday, and today my hip is doing well. Back to the elliptical today. Meals today...omelette/toast for breakfast, sandwich/soup for lunch, and turkey italian sausage in pasta sauce/brown rice/veggies for dinner. Got my plan set...now to get it started...

Terrific!! You are doing fantastic!! Doesn't it feel great? How many more days of medication? I love your planning ... and your matter-of-fact approach to this journey. Take care!!

Thanks yanawhite...appreciate the encouragement! Madaboutmoose...if I didn't plan, I would be sunk. lol The last thing I need to be doing is plowing around the kitchen trying to put together a meal when I'm already hungry. Danger, danger! lol That's when bad decisions are made. Also, there are times when I don't have a lot of control over what I get to eat (a wedding this coming weekend comes to mind, eek!), and the control freak that resides deep inside my soul needs to keep on top of as much as possible. I do sometimes make substitutions, but I usually use the food journal here to plan out my next day's meals...that way I know what calories I am likely to consume that day, and know if I have an extra few calories to spare if I should want another piece of fruit or slice of toast. That's been important this week, with the darned medication making me so hungry! Four more days of it...four more days. I'm counting them down. lol
