Hello everyone, it’s been a while since using this app, recently my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer which was a stressful time for me, she’s getting treated at St Bart’s hospital, I’m happy to announce that her surgery was successful! She stayed there overnight and we came home safely by their transport ambulance service ❤️ The surgeon called the other day as the histology reports came in of scan results, it has not spread anywhere else and she does not require further surgery! 😄 She will now get radiotherapy treatments along with hormonal pills & mammograms for 5 years 🙂 They said the chance of the cancer coming back is only 9% with just pills but combined with radiotherapy it’s less than 3% 🎉 still a very low chance either way ❤️ Thank goodness it was early stages (stage 2) plus the 2 lymph nodes they removed from her arm were not cancerous either 😄 glad the tumour is out.
