Happy New Year's Eve 🎉

Final journal of 2022 is a report card of my efforts.

THE BAD:
Began the year at 128.4 lbs., ended at 132.8, which is a 4.4 lb. GAIN. As I was supposed to LOSE weight, this obviously deserves a Failing Grade.

THE GOOD:
I switched from a Vegetarian diet to Vegan/WFPB (Whole Foods Plant Based). ❤️I love it so much that I was able to stay faithful to it, and do not miss processed food at all. Finding a WOE that I don't feel tempted to cheat on is a major win, so I'm giving myself an A+.

Exclusively because of this change in diet, in 6 months I dropped my Total Cholesterol from 206 to 164, my LDL from 130 to 95, and my Triglycerides from 124 to 98. While my goal numbers for LDL & Trigs were lower, I still consider this drug-free accomplishment worthy of a B+.

Overall, I feel excited for 2023 and I'm committed to achieving all of my stated GOALS.💚💪🏻👁️🏆

Thank you, Liv! I find goals much easier to focus on and prep for when there's numbers to hit and quantify. So 2023's will be: wear Size 2 Levi's, weigh 115 lbs., do 2 pull ups and/or chin ups.

@RedPorchLady: Thank you! Actually, my weight jumped up 9 pounds in the summer because I didn't do any cardio (just did resistance training). I burned off about 5 lbs. of that in Nov-Dec. by adding the cardio back in again. No diet cheating occurred. Still, I'm raring to go for the January fat smashing!!!

@RN16: This was a real gain, not a fluctuation. Not worried about finding out my body composition, as the mirror don't lie 😁. Also I have size 2 clothes that fit prior to getting fat, so those are my most important measurement tool.

@Storms: Thank you! The bulk of those test results dropped in just 7 weeks, so I just kept getting re-tested until the numbers all dropped below 100. Next one will be in March 2023 so I can see an entire year of the WFPB diet at work. Very excited about that!
