Hey Mattride I have been having pain up my cap a little bit and when I walk sharp pain going down into my ankle on the outer side of my foot I don't understand why I'm getting the pain I'm supposed to go to an orthopedic soon if I can find one is that the same type of pain you had that's all I'm wondering is if that's the same kind of pain it sometimes can be very severe when I first get up and if I move my foot wrong I get a real sharp pain and it hurts real bad and pulsates I don't know if it's the same type of injury or not but I'm just curious cuz I've been walking around on mine for a month and it's not getting any better and I've been going for walks to lose weight so if you could let me know that's the type of pain it was I would much appreciate it thank you

Hi Winkydinks,
Again so sorry for your injury & pain. Without being there physically, It is hard to tell or diagnose if your injury is the same as mine. What I can say: My injury did not extend beyond the heels and left foot area – specifically it was achilles tendon injury.
As you may know there are several common injuries due to excessive walking or running or jumping with repeated/ overused muscles, tendons, ligaments in the legs area. I have suffered from Plantar fasciitis, IT (iliotibial) band syndrome, achilles tendons and blisters. https://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/guide/running-injuries-causes-prevention-treatment
To get to an orthopedic expert advice is a good idea to be certain for a proper diagnosis & treatment.
Due to my achilles tendon injury, I stopped walking & running for almost one full month & I swapped my work out for upper body. What helped my healing for me was a daily deep tissue massaging with an Oriental ointment. I also use handheld massager (heated). Also help to have padded foamy shoes so less strained to our ankles/feet joints
As you can tell, I’m rather a traditional old school and don’t really like a doctor’s visit (read that as minimalist who wants to save retirement money LoL 😃. I do almost everything DIY treatment – I hope I don’t have to do my own heart surgery myself Haha
What I can advise is to take it easy (or even stop temporarily) on lower body (leg exercises) until they are fully healed. After all we won’t enjoy it when we run or walk with that nagging pain !
Wishing you a speedy recovery & hope this helps 😊

Thank you I should be going to the doctor next week or the week after depends on when they can get me into the doctor you know how that goes and I hate going to doctors but I have to go that's all there is to it anyways I fell and broke both my arms about 3 years ago and had to have rods put in them and that was not fun but I'm lifting weights now 5 lb and my arms feel okay that's the most I can lift right now I'm not supposed to lift anything over 20 lb anyways so thank you for the info and have a nice day

Hey for some reason my leg is feeling better I don't understand it but anyways I have been doing stretches and I have been doing an elliptical down at The Little Gym where I live so maybe that has something to do with it and it stretching the muscle a bit I have no idea but anyways I just thought I'd give you an update on that since I had told you about my leg and I haven't been to the doctor yet but I'm still going to go because you never know it might be something serious and I won't and I don't know you know anyways have a blessed day and I'm down to 172 yay !

Winky, Good to hear you feel better. Stretching does help for sure. It works the tissue out just like massaging 👍
