Such pretty patterns form on frozen creeks :) So thankful for the break in below zero and single digit temperatures. Got outdoors for exercise yesterday and the rest of the week looks great for more outdoor fun! Glad to be back on track with eating after that two thousand plus calorie day. That may have been my highest day since beginning this journey almost a year ago. So easy to carb load on sub zero Winter days and skip exercise. Been holding the same weight for a month now so this may be my new set point. It seems to be a good weight for me - a new "happy" weight. Feeling good and not hungry. Trying to allow myself those decadent desserts and appetizers once in awhile and just get back to healthier habits when it feels right again. One difference has been starting out with smaller portions of these things and deciding whether they really taste as good as they appear. Often they aren't. When they aren't, I choose not to have more. Why eat something that just looks appealing but doesn't match up to the best one I've ever eaten. Glad to be more mindful about food choices these days.

It really DOES sound like we're on the same page, with our journeys! The cool part is, that neither one of us is totally freaking out about the upticks. Possibly THE best lesson I've learned on FS. When I first started here, I literally cried every little 'blip'...so glad that we've both learned to have a more balanced mindset. 👍⚖

Pretty! Yes, I'm recovering from my naughty couple of days, and it's interesting how my body is rebelling! I even got out and walked with an extra five pounds of clothing Fri. and Sat with -40's (with wind chill). I'm with you and Crystal, not freaking out about my upticks. Staying positive and back on track! We'll get there!

@MorticiaAddams Agree. My body felt as if I had an overly full stomach the next day. I wasn't as hungry the next day likely from fat content overload and the lack of quality of the food from the day before. Blehhh!
