Super frustrated! Bought a pair of 2x pants a while back. They were a little baggie in the butt. I decided to buy a size smaller. Tried those on this morning! I was super excited to fit into something cute! I couldn't even get them past my thighs!!! Women's sizing is so insane across the board you never know what to really get! It's hard to determine if you are really losing inches!
I really can't afford to buy new clothes, so I was excited to get the smaller size! Same company. Why such a huge difference in the sizing?
I already wasn't feeling well this morning and that kind of hurt me heart a little.

It's horrible frustrating shopping for clothes as a woman. I think manufacturers deliberately mess with the sizes so we have to stay in the store longer & try on more stuff. I think they figure we spend more $$ that way. I know they send them to other countries where small people make the clothes for us & don't understand our sizing.
My husband also doesn't understand women's sizing. He can still go into a store, get his clothes off the rack, buy them without trying them on, & be out of the store in 30 minutes or less. AND the clothes fit him perfectly.
It's so unfair. The manufacturers know that men won't put up with waiting or trying on stuff.
Same reason hair color for men is 10 minutes & for women it's 30. Men won't wait. It's the exact same hair color, btw. 🤬

Never use clothes to "size check" - First because everything shrinks in the first wash and stretches differently as you wear it versus how it was "designed". Second since manufacturers are going to new regions of the world to build garments, all sizes will be off, but within "perameters" of "good enough" since standards are different around the world. Third is the fact that the only scale you should use to check your weight, is the doctors which is "Calibration checked" every six months. Fourth and most importantly did you think of muscle tone build up from exercising ?
It has already been proven twice, some clothing makers are "shieing" sizes which forces you to buy larger and increase thier profits. -- It is a minor setback to all you have done, so focus on your success and be proud of your accomplishment so far !

please dont take this to heart. i have noticed companies but clothes made in different countries, bought nice ll bean shirts--great fit , one month later buy same shirts same size and get totally different material/cut and way bigger...and ll bean is "reputable"

I know that feeling of frustration. I have clothes that it will be awhile before I can wear them again. We can do this!
