My recent 17 pound weight gain caused me to reflect. When I set a specific weight goal for a specific date, I always sabotage myself. I have decided to reflect and create a new process. I strive to maintain or lose each week. Any loss is a victory. A gain is not failure; it's a reason to reflect and adjust my plan. No negativity or shame. At the end of each month I expect a loss. If not, evaluate and adjust. Repeat. It's going to take a long time and consistency coupled with honesty and accountability. I realized I was doing so much mindless snacking so I've made the commitment to have 3 meals and up to two snacks per day. The first two days were rough. I thought about eating all...day...long, but know I've adjusted and am finding my rhythm. It's not easy, but also not as hard as I expected. I'm guessing I'm not alone in this. It is my hope that sharing this will help someone else on their journey. Keeping things positive. :) Donna
