So last Saturday I completed another 5K & did well, taking another 2 minutes off my time. I doubt I'm running faster, so I think that means I'm just running for more minutes, but still walked over half of it. That's fine by me! The bad news, though, is I came down with a really bad headcold, it was pretty cool that morning so....

Naturally I haven't done any exercise for the past 3 days, plus when I don't feel good I tend to eat what I want so no progress on the weight either. Today I feel better, so I'm planning to go to the gym and at least do arms, then stop at the store & buy some "diet food." Planning to have the last of the tilapia for lunch along with jasmine rice & zucchini (if it's still good). Dinner will likely be a lean steak with sweet potato fries & broccoli. Hopefully keep the calories down.

Hubby's Dr. upped his Trulicity dose, he's gotta lay off the potato chips & cookies! He's still pretty depressed about the Hawaii job falling through, but I'm pretty much over it. We took the money we were going to use as a downpayment on a house in Oahu & made a huge principle payment on our current house. Now it will be paid off in a couple of years! Plus we've pre-paid for a trip to Greece next year, which I'm super excited about! Once the mortgage is gone we can save up enough money to go on a cool trip like that every year! It'll work out for sure. Well, I've got one more 5K on the 29th, which I may just walk depending on how I feel. Also some lovely pepper plants that need planting, but right now it's raining so I need to wait another day or 2. Hope everyone has a great day, stay safe!
