I need to drink more water. This week I haven't been the best. Hubs being injured has me concerned and trying to keep him comfortable. I make more high carb food when he is home. He is a meat and potatoes and pasta man. I haven't walked as much since being short handed at work and it is raining today. Joy...but last night I did leg and ab exercises. I am bloated but think is the hormonal wave. Birth control doesn't fix the waves of bloating etc. But such is life. I am anxiously waiting for my new glasses to come in. Hubs thought I should get two frames like he does in case one pair breaks. I am usually thrifty. Heck my prior glasses I have had for 5 years.

Did you try on some petite size glasses? Petite, not kids glasses. Completely different things. You have a slender face and I bet they would. Look good on you.

I like both pairs on you! I'm also a thrifty wife. If you're open to trying, give Zenni Optical a try. My husband just got his pair of glasses in and they are perfect. For the lenses, frames, transitions, along with other add ons it came out to less than $250. If you have good insurance, you could just get the frames. There are so many good ones for less than $50!

I absolutely hate shopping for glasses. I used to wear contacts and would love to go back but such is life. Both pairs look great on you. I end up going with small and very invisible frames since I hate myself in glasses. I have a small face so I get drowned in the bigger styles that seem to be in style.

Thank you for all your sweet comments. Kenna, yes I used to wear the smallest frames possible. I wear bifocals. I have a 'vintage soul' so the cat-eye is my favorite style. @JustBananas I am a more maroon, purple, red chick. Purple has become a new old favorite too. The dark frames are purple.

I think you look fantastic in both styles but the ones in right are my favorite. I have been near sighted since about 10 years old. Wore contacts for most of adult life. Then I got cataracts. I had surgery and they fixed my vision. Easiest surgery I've ever had ( in fact opted not to have any drugs for 2nd eye surgery) and now I only need glasses for night driving. Since I don't wear them often I got designer frames that I just change lenses out as needed.

@Diana 1234 That's good. My mom had cataracts and sadly her surgery left her frustrated and her night vision is terrible. Yes, my husband likes the right frames and I prefer the left.

WisteriaSky233. Petite glasses come in almost all styles— they are not just small frames around your eyes. . They make them to fit the proportions of your face. I used to wear round, oversized glasses at work for eye protection. And heck, glasses are so expensive. Had to sell my first born once to pay for them, but she went to a good home—- hehheheheh
