I reached my goal steps of 6000 and then passed it again. I'm up to almost 11,000 for today. Good dog. He's really helped me even though he's out of shape. By the time we finish the mile walk he's tired. I guess his last owners didn't walk him that much. I have a backyard and let him out but dogs need exercise also. Today was a work day so only the mile walk and then a 4/10th's of one. I also played catch with him in the backyard. My legs are killing me though. I put icy hot of them but I may just to have a less walky day Saturday and let hubby or the son walk him. Maybe someone has some suggestions? We've been talking about getting a hot tub but all the free ones that we see get snapped one super quick. I just can't afford one right now, at least not a lot for one. I'll still try and hopefully one will turn up soon. It's hard to find a smaller free one that we could actually fit in the back carport. That's the only way our landlord will let us have one.

After a while you should get used to being on your feet more and it won't hurt. For now maybe an ice pack or ibuprofen?
