You’re kidding!! Do you get that type of hail routinely? A few weeks ago i was out walking and the hail was pretty big but only like 1/3 golf ball size and it occurred to me i should head home and take my little dog and big dog home so no one would get injured. I cannot imagine. Sympathies

There is hail every year, some years are worse than others. We had a couple good years recently. Our first 3 years here were terrible. One storm destroyed 2 cars, the roof, broke through 9 windows, and ruined the outdoor stuff. That was over $40k. I actually waited 2 years to replace the roof because we were getting storms every year at that time. People on my street were getting their second roof when I was replacing mine from the storm 2 years prior.

Yep, Ramble. It is difficult. I just noticed 4 of my window screens were destroyed. I'm assuming the roof has damage but I will wait to get an estimate. My homeowners doesn't cover 100%. It goes down like 3% each year the roof ages.

Sorry that you're having to go through this, sounds like this isn't your first rodeo either! I also can't stand my HOA. Last year, we had a pretty bad monsoon (60+ mph dust wall, rain and hail) and they came out the following day to hand my husband and I a letter stating that our window screen needed to be replaced. I looked around the corner and just popped the screen back in. Problem solved 😒🙄 Friggin' irritating and yet my front lawn's grass still looks like a**.

We get a lot of hail out here, too. We actually bought a car with hail damage on purpose because it was cheaper. Just dimples and a broken tail light, though, and we can live the dimples. We gave up on gardening, though

Yep, it's nearly impossible to avoid hail damage here. Two of my cars were damaged since I've been here. My current car was damaged and I chose to take the claim and switch to liability with a modified salvage title. Now my wife had her car damaged yesterday. We might do the same with that one.
