Wowsers! Picture perfect! 

This rain in Colorado has made everything soft and squishy. We aren’t used to daily rain - roads are crazy with pot holes and washouts, basements getting flooded, etc. we need a few weeks of warm and dry! 

That's some healthy grass right there. Beautiful yard!  

Your grass is soooo lush!! 

I haven't had any flooding. The hail has done a lot of damage though. And we tried to do a fire pit last night, but the wood was too wet. It was a fail.  

Beautiful yard. I love it when it rains. 

Now I need to get the garden going in the back. And I wish my HOA would allow us to stain the fence with a nicer color. I can't stand that Beachwood look. Even when it has a fresh coat, it looks bad.  

What a cool area! Grass is highly discouraged here in the desert .. 

Well, we are considered a desert as well. We get fewer than 8" of rain each year. However, this year is crazy. We are at 15" and it is only June. We are heading for the record set in 1965, 30.4" that year. We still have 6 months.  

No I live in Florida, and if you ever find the plastic slides seem to look "white on the sliding surface" its because the oil has dried out and you can replenish it with either automotive plastic wax or plastic wax wipes. Once in awhile a mothball or Lysol Lemon will keep small animals from trying to nest in the treehouse or its "base area". My advice to you, was to help you in finding employment "just outside the scope of where you are currently looking" closer to home and near family, not meant as derogatory at all. As told to me years ago - "To catch a thief, you hire a thief." 

I will try that. I also just saw a video about faded plastics and heating it up with a torch to return the brightness.  

I do not recommend heating it at all, because you dont know if it will "bubble, due to the heat" and that will make dark areas and rough spots which could cause scrap's on the skin when they try to slide down. 

PS -- Thats a beautiful yard ! -- I'm jealous !
