Beautiful flowers! I definitely overdid it yesterday too! But my family and I had a wonderful time. Trying to get back to my normal food now though!

Your full house of family sounds so lovely and the colours in your photos bring me so much joy, even if I don't always comment, so thank you for sharing, Melissa. I was also very excited to see that you're travelling to Nice soon. It's on my bucket list as I have an old friend who lives there, but it will be a few years yet before we go, so I'm looking forward to your pics of there too.

Thanks so much, friends! My cold has progressed to being a bit worse... Blah my eyes are practically glued shut this morning. The only thing worse than a summer cold is a winter cold. 🙄Separately, I'm at an imaging center right now where my husband is having a contrast CT on his lungs. We are hoping for good news that there is nothing seriously wrong.

There is supposed to be a paragraph break now. 😂 We are excited to go to Nice. We have never been and never particularly planned to go, but really discounted tickets popped up and we could not resist. If you have any suggestions, since you obviously know why you want to go, please pass them on! We have rented a cheap Airbnb near the city center and are delighted to hear we can have very available and cheap public transportation. It will be fun

You know the funny thing is, some of my bushes are not doing so great, but the hot pink in the front, which has been a fight to keep healthy ever since I planted it a few years ago, is doing its best ever. Last year I almost gave up on it and dug it up... Fearing it could spread its issues. This summer it is doing just great! Maybe it picked up an angry vibe and decided to shap up. After tender care... I was almost done!

I've been to the South of France, but never Nice. Good food, good wine, lovely people, gorgeous views. What more could a person want? 

Thanks, folks! I do love my flowers even if they are a wretched pain in the neck to keep healthy! 😅 Shir, I can barely wait... I need the peace and calm getting away and just being with my man. Funny... We probably don't have to go half way around the world to get it🤔 but, the way we travel, it is cheaper than most places we could vacation in the states. If we r do little but walk and talk and explore... It will be enough! Our house is so bulging with people (yes, I love it) but we need time for us. ♥️
