Today is my first day to start counting my calories. I went to my doctor this morning and she told me to find an app. To tell the truth I may have picked the wrong one. I’m lost. I went to the doctor and asked for ozempic and this is what I got. Have a great night! God bless you all, Tonya

Hang in there. Take small steps. They turn into good habits as you go along. Be kind to your self. You can do this. 👍☺

I like this app. The more you use it, the more you will learn and the better it gets. Just gotta start and it will go from there. Pick a calorie level for the day and decide how to split up the protein, carbs and fat. Make a promise to yourself that you eat within your set level and track everything you eat. Be honest, get a food scale and you will soon realize just how skewed your judgement can be of how many calories you consume. It is an eye opener! I say " I can eat anything I want I just have to adhere to the portion size! " Then if you don't like the way you are progressing you can look back and decide how to change it. I love the journey. It's not a race, so just start and you will be amazed where you end up!

Just start one day at a time. You will get to know how to navigate the app. Find a WOE( way of eating) that will work for you, ( this may take some time and experimenting) plan and prep your foods, and log everything. You can do this👍👍

Be encouraged! I’ve lost, gained, lost, and gained again over the years for different reasons. My success has come when i was motivated and consistent in logging my meals. It will help you to be accountable and make you think more about what you eat and if some of the higher calorie meals and drinks are really worth it. I’m new to this app, created a plan and restarted my journey last friday. I’ve tried several other apps and this one has some great features that are on the free version. Its my favorite so far. If you stick with it, you will appreciate and learn how to use the features Best wishes!

I'm on weight loss meds: Naltrexone/buproprion. I just started them and they're actually working a little too well! I find I'm not hungry but I need to keep myself healthy. I find that this app helps me focus on when I'm eating and what... if I wait too long for breakfast, I'm tempted to make waffles! If I eat on time it's a more moderate meal. A friend of mine is on ozempic and is very nauseous. I can't get excited about feeling that way. I hope you find the right combo for you!

Ive been on ozempic for a year and 3 months the first year I didn't change anything except I ate less than I did before and slowly I didn't crave sweets anymore and I did start eating watermelon and strawberries more but kept drinking the soda pop at Least 2 or 3 bottles a day and ate from the restaurant alot I did loose 21 lbs with it but it took a year and when I decided I wanted to loose weight and get healthier I quit drinking most of the Mt dews I was drinking downloaded the app and tracking calories has helped me loose 15 pounds in a month and a week. so if you really log everything it will help you out now I go to looking at everything I eat and how much carbs are in the food especially. good luck

I just finally came to grips with my relationship with food. I am finally free of the beast and eat to live not live to eat. My doctor joked that if it wasn’t for food he would have nothing to live for.

I have been using this App for a week, the free version. I have used many other Apps and by far this has been the best one. I was even on the Noom program which failed for me and a friend of mine. Each day this App will become easier. The people who comment on here are amazing and positive, which really helps!!! I also joined a Gym, never been a Gym person, the YMCA has members my age as well, 67 and they do circles around the young members. 💪🏻☺️ one day at a time! YOU GOT THIS!

You have chosen the right APP. Just like anything else, it’s going to take time. It’s not going to be easy but if you do it the right way, you will drop the weight. Also be able to keep it off. Most important thing, you gotta hold yourself accountable.

Welcome, I just downloaded this app Monday night. Started yesterday. I like this app so far. I'm also doing time restricted eating. Usually skip breakfast. Trying to stay 1100 -1500 calories. Lower end of calories mostly. Weekends or if I do a longer fast like 20 hours I consume closer to 1500 calories. Take care & best wishes. 😊

Don't be too hard on the doc, maybe there was a reason she denied your request for Ozempic... https://youtube.com/shorts/ygdxz057KM0?feature=share

Ozempic is intended to be used in controlling diabetes. The doctors writing this for weight loss is causing a shortage for those of us who need it. And it has not helped me lose weight. Watching my food intake is working the best for me. And I am no longer on Ozempic because of the side effects.
