Hello FS. Happy to say that I hit some training PRs despite (or because of?) coming back from vacation —

First: Got my bench up to 175, for 3 sets of 3. Generally I’ve busted plateaus by deloading, but some family members advised me to “just add the weight and force a rep or two out, to get out of your head” and it was what I needed to hear.

Two: I finished week 5 of a couch to 5k program, which ends with a 20 minute jog. It wasn’t a great pace, but I’d been fearing the jump from 8 to 20 minutes and now it’s behind me.

I did it at a 6% incline. The 5k I signed up for is in San Francisco, so it’s not flat 😬
