MattRide… I originally thought they were cranes, but someone else argued that they were seagulls. Now that I read your reply, I appreciate knowing that they aren’t seagulls and that i learned a new species. Thanks for sharing. I have some creeks and river legs here in the south side of chicago so I have seen cranes migrate. They Ara beautiful creatures. Not vicious like the geese nor annoying like the seagulls. We should have more sanctuaries all over for these types of birds. Thanks for your kind words. ☺️ 

Matt, once upon a time that heart did not bother me a bit. I spent 115 degree summers in jeans, hoodies, & flip flops…LOL! Then I moved to WA, had kids, pushing 40 and now that kinda heat gives me migraines….I guess I’ll have to settle for springing the dessert on ya in the fall or winter time instead! LOL! I’ll make you strawberry or key lime cheesecake 🤣 and those pretty birdies can have some froggies 🐸
