agnesvitt -- as a kid, I didn't like cooked oatmeal, but I loved to eat raw oatmeal right out of the box as a snack. I didn't get hooked on the cooked version until my 20s, but now, I love the stuff. Haven't had any luck with it bringing down my blood pressure, unfortunately
