Learning to juggle full time job, full time mommy-hood & wifey, & part time school.
I feel like trying to apply the Footsteps poem here is a bit dramatic, because I know and understand how blessed I am to be doing what I’m doing…but I definitely think the verse, “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” - Isaiah 40:32, could be applicable here…. 😴♥️🥰
I am getting some walking in during breaks in my zoom training, so there’s that…none today though. Pouring rain most of the day. And most people know, Washingtonians don’t use ☔️🌂…so I stayed inside and went up and down my stairs until I embarrassed myself with my breathing 🤣🤣🤣

Lol! That’s a really good question, BB. Since I moved here almost 18 years ago, I’ve never seen anyone from here use one. I’ve also heard sooo many times that that’s how you can tell if someone is a visitor/tourist or from Washington- if they have an umbrella or not 🤷🏻♀️🤣🥸

You know Anna i never thought about it but you are right. I dont use an umbrella when it rains either!! I was just telling hubs today that todays weather had me depressed about the nine months to come. I so hate walking in the gray gloomy rainy weather…but it IS what gives us this beautiful landscaping for summer so i shall hush up. For now.

YoH, lol, right?! I don’t think most people think about it. 🤣 I’m from Cali, but I love the rain. I will admit there are times that I wish the sun would come out to play more in the winter but for the most part, I absolutely love it. Give me a good thunderstorm, blanket, & movie or book poetry much any day and I’m a happy camper ♥️

Anna you sound almost exactly like my daughter. She loves the rain doesnt like the heat or sitting in the sun. I must be a secret cali girl because im happiest when the sun is shining regardless of the temperature😂

YoH, I used to!!! I was 💯 a Cali girl in Cali! LOVED the sun, sun bathing, sleeping, reading. Loved the rain then, too, because it felt like a special treat. I did it in flip flops, hoodies, and jeans, or overalls, tanks, and flip flops 🤣 I moved out here and the warm sun felt like the treat. Then I got pregnant and was around 7 months and miserable when we had breaking record heat waves and I haven’t been the same since 🤣😅🤣

Wifey, yes!!! Score! Sisters! Sisters! My husband wants to take us to Canada. He’s been before, did a Victoria Tea (?) with his mom a LONG time ago when he was on leave in the army. The kids and I have never been. We’re hoping next summer maybe. 🥰♥️ The closest I’ve ever been to Canada was Glacier Washington and we were picking up Canadian radio stations! Lol

BB! LOL! I make sure I wear a jacket with a hood for days I straighten my hair 🤣😅 that’s my concession. On occasion I do use an umbrella, but I have to be looking really nice or going a long distance outside😅

BB, exactly!!! It takes too long to get it straight just to step outside and have it a poofy & frizzy mess cause of rain or humidity before I can even blink!!! 🤣🤣🤣
