The holidays were among us, and yes I did gain! I didn't even track for the last couple of days, SO not me. Oh well, I say start on Monday. Yes, Monday because tonight is a prime rib dinner (I will stay away from carbs or at least many carbs), I will have to eat a few fried shrimp. Mardi Gras is coming early and well, this dinner is the start. Oi Vey! Food, why do I love thee so?!

So it sounds like holiday eating is your issue. Since the year is full of them, now is as good a time as any to revise your attitude & approach to eating at the festivities. Perhaps don't eat anything all day and go for a 1 hour walk beforehand on Monday?

Rhontique, it was great. Prime rib as we all know is not the problem. Soonsoonsoon, yeap every year same old thing. Actually, I should not say that. Every year it's 30 lbs from Oct to Feb. Managing to go teeter back and forth with 5-8 lbs. Once a year Christmas becomes Mardi Gras, yeap, Louisiana celebrates with food. Been avoiding the King Cakes, tomorrow have to pick up FIVE---delivering 4 of them to vet's offices as gifts (we have a dog hotel). Been trying to play with the dogs a bit more. Customers haven't stopped bringing in goodies....been giving my groomer some. YEAP, gulped some too. Soon Soon Soon. I usually get on track for the 1st of February.
