My short-term goal is to get to 270 by September 17th... or somewhere close to there. :) Initially, I was losing like 10 lbs. a week but as I have jumped on & off the induction phase of ATKINS, I am now losing about a lb. a day. I was dissatisfied with that rate intially, thinking that I need to see the weight come off but now realize that it is still the way to go because I can definitely see it! I have waaaay more energy on the lo-carb and my mind seems sharper and more readily able to process complex ideas. Purging all my outrageously large clothes (the 4-5xs, the 30-32W) felt AWESOME! I'm proud to now wear 22/24W and 2Xs. I did something good for myself and someone else with 1 swift blow! I decided to set my short-term goal at 270 because it was about a year ago when I last saw the love of my life and I weighed 370 so... I see him on Sept. 17th & really want to give him a big surprise. :)I just nixxed my account with Facebook b/c I felt like there were true-anonymity issues so... it would be great, excellent, & wonderful if I could make some socializing buddies here. I'm open! :)
