Got back from vacation no heavier than I left, which I'll take. Granted, vacation was camping and hiking in the desert.
I fail to understand why people feel the need to leave "yuk" comments of various levels of rudeness on people's food posts. I know a lot of people don't like the tofu I eat and post, but likewise, a lot of the keto and carnivore posts turn my stomach a bit. I scroll past, keep doing what works for me, and move on with my life. I feel no need to yuk on their yum. I came back from vacation to a comment with about a hundred vomiting emojis. Not upset about it, but not what I wanted to come back to. Pretty much just rolled my eyes and deleted it. Fortunately, it's rare.

I've never tasted tofu, so my mind is a blank slate when it comes to what people think about the taste. My wife refuses to let it in the house because of her concerns about the controversies surrounding phytoestrogens. I'm not trying to start an argument. True or not she does not claim to know for sure. It's just that there are other things to eat, so why? But our choice has nothing to do with yours. You do you. We will always champion you pursuing your chosen path to health and happiness. We are just smart enough to know we are not so incredibly smart that our choice for everyone else is better than individual freedom of choice. Some people seem to have a hard time understanding that elementary truth.

Yippee -- I've looked into the phytoestrogen thing, and am convinced it's not a problem. As for why, there are a lot of health benefits, and I figure people in Asia have been eating it for centuries. That said, I wouldn't force it on anyone, and the LAST thing I'd want to is get you into a fight with your wife! 😂 Happy wife, happy life, right? 😃 My husband's willing to go along with my food choices, so I'm grateful for that. And yep, plenty of other things to eat if it's not your choice.
