Anyone else have an issue trying to reopen your jars of coconut oil? I don't close it tight and I have a heck of a time opening it, even when I just opened it hours earlier. Nearly gave up this morning. (I admit I have very weak hands but still, its super frustrating)
Enough whining, I still haven't weighed myself and it is weird. Scale is in the closet patiently waiting for my return. (Although I sense a smirk!)

I haven't had a problem. Is it humid where you are? I always use a rubber band around lids that are hard to open.

Pour it into a different container? I doubt you have to melt it. I have to melt it here 12 months of the year. Fortunately, it melts quickly in bulletproof coffee. That's important. :)

Trader Joe's has a bit of coconut flavor...unless my mind is more powerful than my palate.

I have spectrum organic virgin coconut oil unrefined medium heat. tastes and smells coconutty. I love coconut!

Mine has dried up but that's probably because it's over a year old. Tastes the same.

In the past I used a brand named Nutiva which both tasted and smelled of coconut. Recently I've been using the Whole Foods 365 brand and I'm not a big fan.

Well, now I feel silly. Guess I'm just a weakling : ( Thanks for the tips! I went to Target and got some Archer Farms sugar free coffee flavoring AND Carrington Farms LIQUID Coconut oil. Probably not as healthy but hopefully will be good and mix easily with my shakes : )

I cut out a few pieces of the rubber drawer liner material and use it on jar lids that are hard to open. I am a weakling too. I have also used the handle end of a butter knife and tapped it all around the lid to loosen it too. Do you used the coconut oil for cooking?
