Today was a great day.
Started my day off with a solid workout at the gym. I spent the afternoon with my best friend, who since nursing school I rarely get to see. I even ate lunch out and Chili's and managed not to blow it despite being half starved. I opted for a six ounce sirloin, steamed broccoli, and a couple handfuls of chips with guacamole.
Friend had cleaned out her closet and gave me some clothes she no longer wears. This is as close to new clothes as I ever get so I'm super excited about it. Nice shirts and sweaters, and a couple new pairs of jeans that literally look brand new. Some of the shirts still have tags.
I'm doing breakfast for dinner tonight, calories already logged ahead of time. This is my one evening off so I'm looking forward to spending it with the husband and kiddos.
