From Thursday last week until Tuesday this week I was constipated and needed laxatives. Since Tuesday's toilet session until now (Thursday night) I'm constipated again. I'm drinking more than 2 litres a day and eating lots of fibre. I was confused until an hour or so ago when I looked up why. I'm eating 1000kcal per day but eating between 25-35g of fibre a day, which is apparently FAR too much. Recommended is 14g per 1000kcal and too much fibre causes constipation. So now having to do a whole diet replan to get my system going again! T_T

That is a brilliant piece of information. I too am constipated, and what have I been doing for it? Eating more fibre. I must consume around 25g/1000 kcals.
