Some things come full circle...Many years ago, while living in Hawaii, my husband bought himself a bike to use to go to and from work. I borrowed it a few times to "see if I would like it"..OMG...It made me feel like I was 10 years old...the wind in my hair, the fresh air and sun on my face....I purchased my own and used it for years. We brought them to Montana and sporadically used them. My bike was later commandeered by my youngest son while in college and rode to death. While cleaning out the garage this past weekend, I had remembered that I had fixed up my hubby's bike with new tires and whatever else it needed. My husband said he had too much difficulty riding it due to the lack of range of motion in his knees and said it was mine if I wanted it. I gave it a test drive and guess who feels 10 years old again???? :) I love walking, but this mode of transportation will afford me some exercise while running quick errands instead of jumping in my truck. I live one mile out of town and the subdivisions provide a safe cut-through so I can avoid most traffic where the roads are sketchy. What a gift!
